This week we will look at the first design principle – Balance There are two forms of Balance 1. Symmetrical or Formal These are spaces that are evenly split into two sides that mirror each other. Be careful of this style can become monotonous or boring. 2. Asymmetrical or Informal. Visual weights of lines, colours, forms, and textures are balanced without exact duplication. This style is more complex and interesting.
